Girls made a birthday cake with pinches! What a nice idea!!

午後のサークルタイムの後はお迎えが来るまでプレイタイムです。みんなそれぞれに楽しんでる中、今日は女の子数人で、何やら一生懸命作ってる。何かと思ったらバースデーケーキなんだそうです。洗濯バサミを重ねて作るケーキ！その発想と可愛さに思わず写真をとってしまいました。笑

This week we made a trip to the octopus park, 宝塚中山五月台６丁目, named for the large red concrete octopus with various slides. This is one of the kids favourite parks but due to the fact that it is the farthest away we can only go there when we have plenty of time. It was a great day and the Koi Noburi are flying in the park. On Friday we celebrated Easter at High Five Kids by colouring eggs with food colouring, then we went together to the big park,宝塚中山五月台公園, where the Easter Bunny had left some eggs. The big kids paired up with the smaller children each child was given a letter and they searched in the park for three eggs with their letter on them. The plastic eggs each contained stickers, and candies. All the children brought their treasures home with them in the baskets we made in class. Happy Easter.

How is everbody’s easter going?

Here at High Five Kids Saturday English School we had a great time!

First, the kids colored their eggs by crayons and dipping it into the colored water. The outputs were really cool! Some of the eggs looked like dinosaur eggs.




Second, we went to the big park located at 宝塚市中山五月台公園 for egg hunting!

The kids were assigned to find their own respective letters.




After the egg hunting, we played a game egg race! In which, they need to use a ladle to move the eggs from the paper bag into the basket. The score was, 29-36. Team B won!




It was indeed a fun easter for us! The kids surely had fun!




Next week Saturday is cooking day. The kids will practice their cooking skills by using English as their medium of language.

EGG COLORINGをした後は
中山五月台公園に行きました。Big KidsとLittle Kidsがペアになり
一緒に自分のアルファベットレターのついたEGG を探します。
Big Kidsはちゃんと小さなパートナーの面倒を見ていて誇らしげに思いました
じぶんのEGG よりもパートナーのEGGを見つけてあげていました。
さすがです。
下にたくさんありますよ！

今週はEaster week　子ども達とクラフトしたりバスケットを作ったりしていました。
そして今日金曜日はGood　Friday
子ども達が楽しみにしていたEASTER
BlaineにEasterの絵本を読んでもらいました。

そして待ちに待ったEGG COLORING
ゆで卵にクレヨンでお絵かきができる！こんなチャンスはEASTER だけ！

その後は
魔法の色水につけます

すると　
あら不思議！！

カラフルなエッグに早代わり！！

年少Dolphins
ついにアイロンビーズ解禁！すごい集中力です。

今日はコアラちゃん達はスモールパークへ行きました。
珍しいことに、女の子達がサッカーを楽しみ、男の子達は滑り台と砂場で遊んでいました。

At High Five English we have fire or earthquake drills once every month, this month our fire drill was attended by the local fire department, 宝塚市東消防署中山台出張所, who came with their ladder truck. Having a drill helps the children to understand how to react in an emergency and gives them the confidence to deal with unexpected situations. The fire fighters also take the time to answer any questions the children might have, and to train the staff on how to use fire extinguishers.
