April 7th, 2014,
Today we played a game of Spring Bingo, in the ‘Big Park’,　宝塚中山五月台①公園. Both the Panda/Penguin class and the Dolphin class have been preparing for this game for the last week. We have been previewing the spring words used in the game including, cherry blossoms, worm, dandelion, and butterfly, we also learned some adjectives such as, gooey, prickly, soft and hard. The classes were divided into two teams one lead by Mari and the other lead by myself. Each team had to find as many of the things listed on the bingo sheet as possible. Mari’s team won because they found a snail shell which we failed to do. All of the children had fun playing the game therefore we were all winners. Bingo. This game was so much fun we hope to have another bingo game in summer and search for other items.

Spring is Here!

Spring is here and with spring comes new changes, all of our previous students have moved up to the next class, Koala class has now become the Dolphin class and with that comes new challenges and responsibilities. Our former Dolphin class is our new Panda class and our old Panda class has become the new Penguin class. We would also like to welcome our new teacher Ramone, who is from Jamaica. Ramone has been a great help for us this week. On Wednesday we had a beautiful visit to the 'tree park', 宝塚中山五月台２丁目 , a park with lots of cherry blossoms not far from our school. On Thursday we went to another park which we call the small park to have a picnic since the weather was so nice. We are lucky to have four different parks within walking distance to our school that the children can enjoy. Another new feature would be our new web site, I'm looking forward to being able to keep our parents informed with these blogs.
